About me

I am a self taught oil painter from Bosnia. Currently, based in Germany.
As a child, colors, animals and nature spoke to me in various languages.
We conversed secretly in my family's garage.
I drew hands, trees, and different shapes against the walls.
As an adult, painting became my medicine. I was not good with my words to express my emotions nor my thoughts. Therefore, painting became my refuge when i felt heavy.
We all experience moments of sadness and happiness. Yet, each and one of us express them differently because we are all unique. I paint, and I let my tender hands speak up the language of my raw emotions. I let them out, and i let them exist outside my body, mind, and soul into my canvases. i give them a place to exist as a reminder of how incredibly powerful our thoughts and emotions are.
My meduim is oil painting. Just like oil is an essential nutrient in both human and animal diets; oil painting is essential to me to express love and loss in human relationships inspired by my experiences.
One of my favorite characteristics of oil is they float on water, yet they are not soluble.
We cannot dissolve our emotions nor our thoughts. Therefore, My paintings represent self reflections as well as deep thoughts -the distorted beauty of life.
